Arizona State University Leadership Scholarship Program
The Leadership Scholarship Program (LSP) recognizes outstanding high school graduating seniors who have achieved excellence in leadership and service. Established in 1977 to develop exceptional leadership skills among promising scholars, this program has a long-standing history at Arizona State University. More than a scholarship program, students become integral members of the university community. Students are given many opportunities to discover more about themselves, the leadership skills they possess, and explore the opportunities and responsibilities of leadership during their four-year experience in the program. Barton College, located in Wilson, North Carolina, is a four-year, private, liberal arts college, providing students with a strong academic focus and opportunities for leadership development integrating an intentional application of collaborative learning in every aspect of the college experience.
The Barton College FBLA Scholarship is an annually renewable $1,000 tuition scholarship granted to a maximum of five entering (or transfer) students who demonstrate active participation in Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA) in high school or Phi Beta Lambda (PBL) at a former college. Competition for the scholarship is by invitation.
Upon enrollment at Barton College, the student must remain active in the local PBL chapter; participating in chapter activities at the local, state, and national levels.

Central Christian College of Kansas is a private four year college whose mission is to provide a Christ-Centered Education for Character. Central Christian College offers over 40 majors and degree plans. The goal of Central’s FBLA-PBL chapter is allow student members to practice and apply materials learned in the classroom and gain experience that will assist students to fortify their resume and ultimately succeed in the workplace.
Eligibility: Active members of FBLA-PBL who are applying as a new or transfer student to Central Christian College of Kansas and considering a degree in business or a related field.
Criteria: Students must have a cumulative high school GPA of a 3.0 or higher and not be involved in college varsity athletics.

Procedures: Visit campus and interview with a business department faculty. To accept and secure the scholarship, the student will submit their application deposit.
Amount: Varies from $1000 and above. Requirements: Assist department faculty in various activities and strategies including recruiting, fundraising, internships, leadership positions and other projects as assigned. The student can expect to participate about five hours per week.
Champlain College located in Burlington, Vermont offers a special scholarship for incoming first-year FBLA members. The BYOBiz/FBLA scholarship was established to support an FBLA student that either has developed and launched his/her own business or has an aptitude for entrepreneurship. Submissions will be evaluated based on the potential for success as evaluated by the scholarship committee.
Scholarship Award: Award ranges from $3,000 up to $10,000 per year based on the applicant's submission and the quality of their academic profile.

This scholarship is designed to recognize outstanding FBLA members for their activity and involvement in the association. The number of scholarships given depends on yearly contributions to the FBLA scholarship fund.
Receipt Deadline: April 1
Individual Award: Minimum of $500; half will be awarded at the NLC and the other half upon joining Phi Beta Lambda.
Criteria: Open to graduating FBLA members who plan to pursue a post-secondary education and become actively involved in PBL at the postsecondary level.
• Must be a dues-paid member of FBLA.
• Must have achieved the Leader or America level of the Business Achievement Awards (BAA).
• Must submit Distinguished Business Leader Interactive Scholarship Form (link is below).
• The completed form and a one-page cover letter summarizing FBLA-PBL, business, leadership, and community activities, a resume outlining FBLA-PBL activities and educational achievements, and one letter of recommendation from a chapter adviser, a teacher, or a business/community leader must be submitted to the national center.

FBLA students (juniors and seniors) are eligible to receive a $1,000 scholarship at FIDM. Students who are FBLA State Officers at the time of their acceptance to FIDM are eligible to receive an additional $1,500 scholarship.

Morrisville State College Leadership Awards
Morrisville State College is part of the SUNY system in Upstate New York that focuses on technology and applied learning in more than 75+ programs of study. Leadership Award recipients includes those students who are FBLA active members and for those who hold a state or national officer line.

The National Technical Honor Society (NTHS) is pleased to continue our partnership with FBLA-PBL to recognize the outstanding achievements of students in career and technical education. NTHS awards over $210,000 in scholarships to its members annually and provides funding for two $1,000 scholarships exclusively for FBLA-PBL members. NTHS/FBL-PBLA members are also eligible to apply for the Jon H. Poteat Scholarship.

Eligibility: In 2016–17, NTHS offers two $1,000 scholarships exclusively to FBLA-PBL members who are also current NTHS members in good standing.
Applicants must be in 10th grade or higher.
Schools must have an active NTHS chapter for student eligibility.
A fully completed application must be submitted by the deadline date or forfeit eligibility.
Scholarship monies are held up to three (3) years to be used for post-secondary education.

The NFIB Young Entrepreneur Foundation provides nonrenewable scholarships each year ranging from $1,000 to $15,000.
Eligibility: Graduating high school seniors who will be entering their freshman year at an accredited two- or four-year school in the fall of 2016. Students must be able to demonstrate entrepreneurial spirit/initiative by owning or operating their own small business.
Criteria: The application process is in two phases. The first phase is an essay application, taking place October 2015 through December, 2015. If selected as a semi-finalist, interviews will take place late January through mid-March, 2016. Applicants may apply online at NFIB.com/YEA beginning October, 2015. This scholarship is awarded to incoming freshmen who have displayed outstanding contributions to their high school business club. The scholarship is semi-noncompetitive and numerous scholarships are awarded yearly. The deadline is open.

The students of FBLA are invited to apply for the Razor’s Edge Leadership Scholarship Program at Nova Southeastern University in Ft. Lauderdale, FL. The Razor’s Edge Program is a highly competitive four year program looking for students who demonstrate a commitment to leading others and making an impact. The program is designed for students entering college as first time freshmen. Candidates must have the desire to continuously improve their leadership abilities and use their knowledge when taking on leadership roles on campus and beyond.
Students selected for the program, will receive a $10,000 scholarship annually for up to four years of continuous undergraduate enrollment at NSU. Program information and application are available at www.nova.edu/studentleadership/razorsedge.

Penn Commercial is offering one (1) scholarship for high school seniors who are members of FBLA entering an associate degree program of study at Penn Commercial Business/Technical School.
Application Deadline: March 31
Eligibility: Open to high school seniors meeting qualifications consisting of FBLA participation and past academic records as requested on the application form.
Award Amount: The FBLA scholarship will amount to 25% of tuition per quarter in the program being offered by the school. The recipient must maintain a 2.0 GPA and an 85% attendance record or the scholarship is forfeited. The award must be used within one year.

Pittsburgh Technical College (PTC) proudly supports the efforts of FBLA and encourages members to apply for a PTC scholarship. PTC is providing (3) $3,000 scholarships for FBLA members.
Eligibility: Applicants must be a high school senior and an active member of FBLA to apply for the scholarship.
Criteria: *Recipients must apply their scholarship to either July 2017 or October 2017 PTC enrollment. Recipients must maintain a 3.0 GPA to earn a $3,000 partial tuition scholarship renewal for their second PTC year in the associate degree programs.

Southern New Hampshire University—New
Southern New Hampshire University (SNHU) is pleased to recognize FBLA participants. The Office of Admission will award a limited number of $1,000 merit scholarships to FBLA participants who decide to attend SNHU as a full-time undergraduate day student.
Eligibility/Criteria: Students must have been an active member of FBLA for more than one year. The FBLA adviser must submit a letter of recommendation to demonstrate proof of participation. Students must be enrolled in the full-time undergraduate day program and must meet the minimum academic requirements necessary to receive merit-based aid.
SNHU sponsors several scholarships at the New Hampshire State Leadership Conference each spring. SNHU honors the single highest scholarship that a student has received through participation in FBLA. Students must provide a copy of their scholarship certificate to the Office of Student Financial Services to be awarded that scholarship.
Application Deadline: Students accepted to Southern New Hampshire University prior to May 1 each year shall be eligible for this scholarship.

University of the Ozarks provides two (2) $2,500 renewable scholarships for students who enroll as degree-seeking students in a bachelor’s degree program. Scholarships are automatically renewed each year for students who maintain a 2.75 cumulative GPA.
Eligibility: Eligible students must have at least a 3.0 GPA and ACT score of 24. Applicants must submit a personal essay, and qualifying students must complete a personal interview before receiving the scholarship.

University of the Ozarks is a liberal arts college with a student population of about 600 in Clarksville, Arkansas. Ozarks offers degree programs in numerous liberal arts and preprofessional programs, including business and teacher education. Download an application form.
This scholarship recognizes the involvement and activities of FBLA-PBL members. Webber International University (WIU) is offering fifteen (15) recurring $500 per semester scholarships to incoming FBLA students or active PBL members at WIU.
Award Amount: $500 per semester, renewable
Eligibility: Open to any FBLA member enrolling at WIU. Applicants must be a dues-paid member of FBLA-PBL and must agree to be an active PBL member at WIU. WIU has set up a “Millionaire Points” program in which scholarship award winners must participate. Winners who qualify at PBL district competition will have their participation, room, and board paid at the PBL state competition. Winners qualifying at state will have their participation, room, and board paid at the PBL national competition. Scholarship award winners will be asked to sign a contract each year vowing their PBL participation.
Procedure: Applicants must complete the FBLA-PBL Scholarship Application Form and submit it with a letter of recommendation from their FBLA adviser. In addition, applicants must include a letter stating how or what contributions they could make to the WIU PBL chapter.

The scholarship is valued at $9,000 toward tuition at Wesleyan College, and is renewable every year for four years, eight semesters, if the student remains in good standing and maintains a cumulative GPA of at least 2.5.
Admissions & Eligibility: Eligible high school seniors and transfer students may apply for the Wesleyan FBLA scholarship if they have completed requirements for the America level of the FBLA Business Achievement Awards. Eligible scholarship candidates also should possess a minimum SAT score of 1000 (combined Critical Reading and Math) or an ACT score of 21 (Composite) and a high school GPA of 3.0.
To be considered, students must submit a completed Wesleyan College Undergraduate Admission Application, including high school and/or college transcripts, SAT/ACT scores, and letters of recommendation. To receive final scholarship award, recipients must submit a letter from FBLA stating completion of the America level of the FBLA Business Achievement Awards.
